My husband and I are on the final countdown to our annual vacation. This year, we are headed to Nicaragua for sunshine, volcanos, beaches, and jungle. We can't wait! But before we board the plane, we have to prepare to leave. And the preparations for these trips often leaves me wondering if it's worth the trip itself. (Mostly kidding-- I know it's worth it)
Bags need to be packed, and foreign currency needs to be acquired, but that is only the start of it. All the laundry needs to be done. The fridge needs to be emptied of all perishables. Details need to be settled with the house & pet sitters. Credit card companies need to be notified... and on, and on, and on the check list goes!
The last couple of days leading up to a big trip like this are hectic and a bit chaotic to say the least. But soon, all of this craziness will be forgotten. In in less than 72 hours, I will be sitting on a beach in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua with a Pina Colada in hand, flip flops on my feet, and the sun on my shoulders. adiós amigos
